Applying Lipstick with LipSense®. The following are tips for how to apply lipstick with LipSense®:

Clean your lips

The first thing you want to do is clean your lips.  LipSense® Liquid Lip Color must be applied to clean dry lips. Second, if you want your lips to have more definition, use the  LinerSense® first.

For example, LinerSense® is designed to blend and compliment all the LipSense® hues. Moreover it is easy to apply because it has a sable brush.

Always shake LinerSense® prior to application.

After you apply color to the sable brush, begin application to the outer corner of your lower lip.  Then move the brush in one direction. Next, repeat this process for the upper lip.

Apply the LipSense lip color

The next step is to apply the LipSense® Lip color.  Indeed, LipSense® requires a layering technique.  Similarly, LipSense® has the same ingredients as LinerSense® and needs to be shaken before each application.   However, LipSense® is applied by using a layering technique.  Thus, the technology requires three layers be applied for maximum staying power. To clarify, after placing color onto the wand, begin your application at the corner of your mouth, using the longest length of the applicator.

Keep your lips apart

Until the LipSense® dries, keep your lips apart. For best results follow the natural shape of your lips. Equally important is to make sure you apply the color, moving it in one direction. Versus going back and forth like you would with lipstick but don't fuss with the first layer.

Let each Layer Dry

Let each layer dry for a few seconds before proceeding to the next coat. When you have completed the application of the third layer of color and the color has set, apply one of the Moisturizing Lip Gloss over the final layer.
